Lawson and I were riding our miniature ponies in the arena, and we got the bottle calf in so we could rope him off the ponies.
Roping off of the pony I trained! I'm so proud of her! But sadly,
I'm getting too big to ride her. *Big sigh*
I got him!
Peaches decided that she didn't want to play "roping" anymore. So she bolted.
Someday I'll be doing this off of my own, full sized, horse named Chorus!

The calf is almost the same size as the pony. LOL
ReplyDeleteYes!!!! Isn't that hilarious!?!?!?!??!! At first, my pony was scared of Barney(The calf) so I had to work with her on that..... I taught her to go up to the calf and bump hi with her chest! Haha!
DeleteSeriously? You are riding your pony with a halter and make-do reins? LOL Love it! I will share my picture of me on "Taffy" (Sunny) some day with the halter and lead-rope reins.
ReplyDeleteYes!!! I do ride her like that, Mrs.M! LOL!!!! When I was first training her I just used a halter, and later I forgot about the bridle. And then I think I remembered and put it on her, but she chomped on the bit, so I decided not to use it anymore. I barley ever use the reins anyway, I mostly just use my legs. The reins are only for an emergency.
DeleteOh, I would love it if you did a post on your blog about that picture! (if that's what you meant by "sharing" it.)
Thanks so much for commenting, Mrs. M, as I know your real busy.
That's sooooooo cool!
