Just Life

I think it might be time to post again! I haven’t been blogging for a while... it’s really sad I know but I just haven’t gotten the time. Haha well I will have to keep this post shorter than I hoped because I know otherwise I won’t get it done.

Alright soo here’s a few random things that have been happening in the past days..

I got a new puppy!! Her name is Asilah, (uh-sigh-la) she’s 5 months old and she’s a border collie/ red heeler. I love her a lot! She always comes on adventures with me, and she has the funniest way of drying her belly off.😂 We all really like her!

Apples from our tree!! I know it doesn’t sound super exciting to you, but it really is for us bc that tree has been through a lot! I big sliding barn door fell on it and squashed it to the ground, and then someone drove over it🤦🏼‍♀️😂

grass and cattle, and when I looked at the photo later I noticed her photobombation😂

I found a cactus in our pasture. It’s so cuteeee! I had no idea ND had cactuses! Haha.

I was filling the sprayer for dad and this foam stuff started coming out the top😂 I felt really tempted  to touch it but yeah never do that or you’ll get poisoned. Haha 

Crockpot banana bread! I wanted to try it cuz our oven wasn’t working, and now I think we’ll always make it this way, it was really super much better than normal banana bread.😍

Th 4 of July was super fun!! We went into town with our cousins and watched the fireworks. It’s a tradition. We always bring snacks and blankets and sit on the roof on the car.

Potatoes wedges meat balls with gravy🥰. If you ever want to bless me just give me meat balls and gravy.  It’s not very a festive meal, but it was really good.

1.  What is your favorite book to read?  Umm, besides my Bible? 

I don’t really read a whole bunch besides school and whatnot, 

and when I do it’s mostly in spurts. But I like to read American history,

 we have a shelf of books of American history compiled 

by Janet and Geoff Benge, and I like how they write biographies 

so when I read I like to grab one of them. I’m currently reading

 Meriwether Lewis’ biography and I finished d Milton Hershey 

a few months ago. I also like the Circle C Adventure books

 by Susan Marlow and some compiled by Lamplighter 

Publishers. That’s pretty much it for books.

2. What kind of truck would you prefer? Favorite kind of truck?

 That’s an interesting question. Probably either a Chevy

 or Ford or something? 😎🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ I’ll probably think more 

about that when I need one, for now my 

favorite choice of transportation is my horse.😝

3. What’s your least favorite western movie?

We don’t watch a ton of movies, and especially 

not ones we don’t like, so I don’t really know😐😕

4. Favorite superhero? Umm, like I said we don’t really

 watch movies that often, not cuz we think it’s bad

 we just don’t find time. And we don’t really watch superhero 

movies. I’ve only heard about Batman and Superman from other 

people and Walmart’s cereal boxes. . I think Jesus would 

have to be my favorite super hero.😜

6. Where is your favorite place to go? That’s easy. To our pasture 

on my horse with the cows, in the spring when there’s lots

 of cute baby animals and flowers. My favorite place. 😊

7. What do you think is the best restaurant? I like my mother’s

 cooking better than any restaurant I’ve eaten at. She’s an amazing chef. 

😋😋 But probably Panera  Bread, because I like telling myself it’s healthy😆 

and it’s reallly delicious with lots of flavor in the food. 

My favorite thing to get there is Chicken Tortellini 😍😊😋😋

8. If you could change one thing in the world what would it be? 

that’s a good question! I have no idea. Maybe so everybody

 knows about Jesus because some people just have no idea and it makes

 me really sad, and if people in different countries wouldn’t have 

to suffer and not have food and stuff. That also makes me really sad.🙁

9. Do you own any animals? How many? We have cattle, horses, 

chickens, cats, a dog and occasional wildlife that we find for pets.🤪 

10. If you could live anywhere, where would it be? Definitely

 right where I am now. I wouldn’t trade living 

“in the middle of no-where” on a cattle ranch with 

my family for the world.😁😊

MY VARIATION OF PHOTO DUMP/ photo flood

like the title?😆I didn’t want to copy other bloggers COMPLETELY with their photo dump thing.
So,, I’m basically just gonna give you a flood of pictures. sorry most of it is food. haha.
Here goes...

❤️❤️Peppermint icecream!😍 it was really refreshing and perfect for a movie night, I just made a  batch of  plain icecream, then added peppermint extract and crushed candy canes and some red dye to get the peppermint feel. even tho Christmas is long past... 

^this, people, is blueberry muffin with lemon glaze, and a cup of freshly roasted Ethiopian coffee with cream. I actually broiled the muffin first so it was nice and crispy and warm. I hardly like muffins if they aren't broiled.haha.^

This was a peach raspberry smoothie and I reallly liked how it turned out! Peach and raspberry go to gether so deliciously😋

I love writing letters, and doing art on the front of the cards😆

I loveee chocolate anything. kindaa..

drinking lemonade and painting our house

k. we've been kinda remodeling our house, cuz we painted my room, Larissas room, and now most of the downstairs, and  great, great grandpa Haakon's barn started to fall down (that's where the red weathered wood that I use for some of my signs is from) so dad wanted to put it up in our living room. you now how its popular to have barn wood in your house these days, and hey! we didn't have to buy it or anything. it was just right in our backyard ready to be firewood. XD

I moved into lindy's room and painted it, and then set up a collage of  larissa and I's art. I really like how it turned out.XD.

for supper one night I made Chicken Bacon Parmesan Tomato Pasta. my own special recipe.XD

we ordered a violin bow for me and it broke when we took it out. so we told the Chinese dude about it and he said, "oh it is sutch a shame dat sutch a ting happened. we get new bow in de mail for you." haha!

Lawson drew this picture for me. I think I'm shooting gofers in the pasture while its raining. so cute XD

Lawson and I take insane amount of crazy selfies every car trip cuz we are bored... *covers head in hands* I accidentally just showed you my wild side... I'm just kidding, I don't wanna hide certain aspects of my personality with you guys. otherwise it would just be someone eltz with Lexah Nelson as their title, right?XD
